Forum Title: Bathroom Fans Venting into Attics

You should never vent a bathroom fan up into an attic/crawlspace.You should always install a flashing kit on the roof that is made for venting the attic fan exhaust up through the roof.

I like that graphic. Did you make that yourself? I‚ve never installed a bathroom fan. Though, I take plenty of showers. I know just how important a fan like that is.

When I was house shopping with my sister, she was buying her first home last year, we saw an attic that didn't vent out and wow, the smell in the attic was horrific, not to mention the damage!

I ended up paying more and getting a house that had been gutted and redone from top to bottom. I love it here and I am glad I didn't waste the time with fixer uppers.
