Forum Title: Giving away secrets
Did some (paid) on site training for the suppliers of new TPE membrane system over in the eastern side of the North Island on Tues/Wed. Its a 2 hr drive each way, over a pretty windy road, but was OK to do something different for a change. I didn't really need the interuption, but they had been waiting 3 weeks for a couple of fine days to get started. It was -3.8C degrees at 7:30am on the second day. Got to +14 at noon. I showed them how to weld and cut and weld corners etc. this is the road in, the house is up in those hills. a few pics of the application 2nd day I live on the other side of those snow capped mountains, but have to drive 70km south then 25km west and 30km north to get there. Check out the fog line down on the flat below the mts. Pic was taken from the roof, looking west They learned enough to get by, only one out of the 4 were keen enough to keep picking up the welder, the rest just wanted to glue down. We used the PU adhesive, still got it on my hands, won?t wipe off, it will wear off in a few days. I'll reserve my comments on this TPE, but suffice to say Sarnafil is waaaaaaaaaaaay easier to work with.
